2. A few weeks ago, I won a blog contest at Jen is Green for a Brooks Running Jacket. I picked the Nightlife jacket. It arrived this week and I have worn it on two runs already. I'm in love with this thing. I wasn't asked to do a review or anything, but I seriously just love it. I feel much better about running in the dark now! The retail price on this is $100. I never in a million years would spend that much on a lightweight running jacket but now that I have this, I love it!
3. This is what my desk looks like right now. It might not look that bad but things are crazy right now!!
I just bought one of the red brooks jackets. I know it won't help me be seen quite as much, but I wanted to wear it when I was not running. I'm glad you like it! I haven't worn mine yet.

ReplyDeleteIsn't the Nightlife great? My only quibble is that the sleeves are a bit short an no thumbholes. I wear mine for cycling as well, love the longer tail.

ReplyDeleteGreat jacket! I think a lot of people gripe about the expense of running, but they should just suck it up now and then for the right equipment to enjoy their hobby! I'm sure it is much more enjoyable to run in that jacket than an old sweatshirt. Besides, so many people blow money on dumber things! I have no idea what treadmills are better than others, sorry! Hope you find a nice one, and at a good price!

ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about the amount of money, my cousin bought me my first running jacket - I nearly fainted when I saw the $85 price tag but I've worn that jacket at least once a week for three years so I've gotten my moneys' worth for sure.
